I am joining Walgreens Presciption Savings Club!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens. All opinions are 100% mine.

Who in their right mind would say no to a great deal that promises huge savings?  Not me, because I am joining  Walgreens Prescription Savings Club  and I will list down why:

  1. Walgreens is offering a huge discount on annual membership for its prescription club, at only $10 for the whole year.
  2. That $10 for a family membership all covers everyone in the immediate family: spouse, dependents and even pets!
  3. If you don't have a family, you can opt for an individual membership of only $5.
  4. Enjoy savings on thousands of brand-name and generic medicines!
  5. Get discounts on flu shots or diabetic supplies if any of your family members need them.
  6. Even get discounts on pet prescriptions!
  7. And if you have asthma, nebulizers are on discount too!

So those are the reasons why I am joining Walgreens Prescription Savings Club.  I love my family and their health is of primary importance to me. But since I am practical as well, I stay alert for great offerings such as this.  I am really glad to find out about it and is now reading more about this deal.  I suggest you take time check  Walgreens on Facebook and Walgreens on Twitter to hear more about it! And once you do, I am sure you will join too!

A is for Aviary

An aviary is a large enclosure for birds and these monkeys are pointing the way! I just love that sign!
Nope, those birds are not real and this is not the aviary yet but I love how they made those birds look too real! But if they were, you wouldn't catch me and my husband sitting there for fear of, urm, bird droppings, ha ha!
This is the aviary and those peacocks just about rule it here with their beautiful feathers!

No Littering Sign

One of the values that I try to teach my kids is to not litter and to keep their trash on their pockets until they find a proper garbage place. I am just thankful that they seem to be learning this quite well. During our last visit to our favorite park, I pointed to them this sign against littering and the corresponding punishment.
I am glad that even before they realize that there are punishments for these kind of crime, they have already develop a sense of respect for the environment.

Go, Run to Your Birth Date!

We had a little fun, well, a little more fun than usual when we discovered the walkways between each playground was littered with letters and numbers! So we devise a game called run to your birth date!
And we each had our photos taken at the numbers that represents our birth.
And we had fun, and more reasons to play and run :)

Safety Begins With Me!

We went to the QC Memorial on New Years Day so that the kids can have a little fun. And we went to the Circle of Fun part of the park where there were lots of amusement rides. There were lots of people and kids queuing on rides and we always notice the safety signs and reminders. Before I allow my kids to line up, I check if they meet the height requirement so as not to compromise their safety.
Its just sad to see parents lining up at Bump Cars with their young kids when it was clear that only children around 3 ft are allowed as passengers and should be at least 4 ft to ride. But I commend the staff of the park for asking the parents not to bring their kids even if they have already bought the ticket. We should all be responsible for our safety so that we will all have greater fun and enjoyment!

Our Blue Sofa

Blue is said to be the lucky color of the year 2012 so after painting our humble home blue and pink, we went searching for a new sofa for our house. It was a spontaneous decision, because the old black sofa, which is already two years old looked battered, worn and out of place to the newly-painted house. You may call it an impulse buy but it was worth it! several furniture shops were still open at 3pm on December 31 and so we when we saw this blue sofa, it was love at first sight! So this sofa will be a witness to our family's journey. It will witness laughter, triumphs and joy. It will be the seat, literally, of our family adventure! It will take center stage in our home. So it will bring us greater luck and more blessings!
And with these smiles while sitting on the blue sofa, nobody will be blue for sure!
Happy New Year everyone! Welcome 2012 with a big smile :)
