Sort it!

While in Cebu, my son chanced upon this reminder on proper garbage disposal. It was written in native Cebuano dialect and my son took interest. Malata is biodegradable, while Di-Malata is non-biodegradable.
Good thing he has taken a keen interest in recycling!

  2. When you live way out in the country, all recycling is left up to individual families. We have a composter and we recycle all that we can. Sometimes it can be a real pain in the neck, but I tell myself I am doing what is needed to leave a better earth to the folk who follow after I an gone. A nice contribution. genie

  5. I wish more people in my complex paid attention to their garbage and recycling.

I also like how your word 'malata' is so much simpler than biodegradable!
