Creepy Crawly!

You cant pay me enough to touch these crawling creatures! Even now after almost a year, I can still feel how afraid I was to touch them. But they are great looking creatures and I know that they play their part in nature.
My husband was game enough to touch them and even hold them on his palms. Not me though. I will just take the pictures, thank you very much, ha ha.
And those were brought to you by the letters i and s.

I Dont Wanna Fly!

If there was one ride you wont see me getting on in while I am alive, this would be it: The Star Flyer. Its a 45-second ride where they loop you 360-degrees, twice. No thanks, I say.
This is just one of the attractions at Star City.
But can you see how long the queue is for this ride?
Yup, they hung upside down!
I would rather stay on land, thank you very much. Haha, call me chicken and its alright. I don't need to be scared like that to know that I am alive, ha ha.

I Heart Faces: Let Them Be Little

This is one of the best shots of our Bohol travel way back in 2008. My husband and my eldest son went snorkeling and me and the younger kids just stayed to explore the island. And it did not much to make them happy, just an old hammock! Can you see how happy they were?
I wish they stay as happy as when they were this little!

Straight Talk: Hassle Free Phone Lines

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Straight Talk for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Can you remember the time when we don't have cell phones in our lives?  Can you still remember your college days when meeting with friends was much of a hassle because there was no immediate way of getting in touch with each other?  Do you remember the number of times your parents got mad at you for not telling them that you were going home late but was not able to because you were not able to find a phone?  I envy the kids today because they have the power of communication with just a touch of a button.  I understand that cell phones are a must now and I make it a point that my family has not just the phone unit, but the phone plan that is hassle free and easy on the pocket. I for one make it a point to find the best deals in everything and cutting my phone bills in half is a great deal!  I find Straight Talk to fit my requirements because not only is it hassle free because there are no contracts and the All You need plans are amazing but because they also offer reconditioned phones and models like Nokia, Samsung and Motorola.  My kids love their android phones because they get to download their apps for Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr.  Now, I get to save a lot because of The power of Android phone at only $45 for unlimited use!  I Feel Richer with Android because everything is just a click away, and the savings that I get goes to my DSLR fund!  With Straight Talk, I know that my kids have phones for my peace of mind, but at a cost that gives me peace of mind too!

Sort it!

While in Cebu, my son chanced upon this reminder on proper garbage disposal. It was written in native Cebuano dialect and my son took interest. Malata is biodegradable, while Di-Malata is non-biodegradable.
Good thing he has taken a keen interest in recycling!

This was taken at the lagoon at the Burnham Park in Baguio during my first and only visit to the City of Pines in 2007.
I want to go back to Baguio again soon!

I Heart Faces: Tickled Pink

My sister Dianne and her only daughter Danica in her pink bathing suit during our family day tour in Mactan Island Cebu last August. Can you see that mom and daughter are tickled pink to be together? Just by looking at them, can you feel how much they love each other? I do!
My sister waited 7 years after her marriage before they were blessed with a daughter and I so happy when my niece finally came along!

Sailor's Wrath!

Ouch, this sailor's wrath is really something to behold! His punch is strong I think he almost broke my jaw!Even my husband was no match against his muscled arms!
And my son had to close his eyes to imagine himself seeing stars!
That was the family having fun inside the Peter Pan show at Star City! And oh, what fun we had!
Happy Blue Monday!

Watch it!

A wonderful way to catch the attention of patrons inside the dining area of the Panglao Island Nature Resort where the flooring was uneven! If only they made that sign permanent, it would have been a perfect idea!
But it was okay as a reminder anyway because if it didn't catch my attention, I wouldn't have snapped a picture and would be falling flat on my face ;-p

Magic is Me!

My first entry for Blue Monday and it is about Magic and Me! I am a result of magic, the magic of life and of creation. Everyday that I live is a magic of life and I smile because of it! I love life! And I am thankful to be wonderfully alive!

Do Not Buy Pets Caught From the Wild

One of the most sensible signs I have ever came across. We really should let wild animals stay in their natural habitat. There are already lots of animals which are best as house pets so lets us leave wild animals alone. Please.

My Family

MellowYellowBadge

These are the most important people in my life: my family. We were together for a rare family vacation in Cebu last August and it was indeed a dream come true for all of us. In the picture form right to left are my mom, my younger sister Kris, my husband and daughter and I am the one in red and my younger son is in front of me while my eldest child is beside my sister Dianne, her daughter and son and her husband, Kuya Mher.
We are hoping to be able to pull off another family vacation hopefully in Bohol or Boracay someday. But in the meantime, I will treasure this photo and our fun memories in Cebu!
